Captn, best of luck to you on your recovery. On a side note, I lived down in the Fredericksburg area for awhile growing up and still have a lot of friends down there. Kill in a Spotsy stud buck for me!

I with ya. Something happened like a week ago and deer has been on my mind since then. Probably a good thing since I just moved and need to find spots to hunt this fall. Time to start knocking on doors.

It's going around here too. My buddies and I both have it. It's so contagious. Comparable to the zombie apocalypse only our flesh doesn't rot and we don't crave human brains. Instead we wield bows and dress in camo.

You know I thought I was off because I don't get all jacked about the anticipation of the coming season but I realized I get my fix every day I drive down the driveway. Checking for fresh tracks in the driveway, walking up to take the dogs for a walk and feed the deer, weed the food plot, and watch the deer work their way thru the pasture feeding on little clover patches. Soon I will get to see fawns bedded in the food plot with mom standing close by, I get to watch the does and fawns that are the ultimate bait year round, so in a way a get a little deer fix every day.
