I know I'm jumping the gun as my son is only 2-1/2 years old, but when is a good time to get him started with a bow. (My thoughts are between 4 - 6 years old) Anyone have any experience introducing their young (boy or girl) to the bow? It's worthy to note that I bought my son his first rifle (.22 mag) while my wife was still pregnant with him... so I'm eager, to say the least
I got my 4.5 yr old GF's grandson a longbow last year when he was 3. He always wants to shoot. Just let him have fun with it
my little guy is only 2 1/2 and he loves shooting his "kids" bow, he needs help but he gets the general idea and loves it...
Thanks. That's his very own custom longbow,34"-9#@16". Hopefully he'll stay with it and be a hunting partner in a few years
