Pull out the choke and turn the key.

Put it in a warm(er) garage?

EFI machines sure are nice in that regard.

I pull the choke, turn the key and push the start button. The Foreman 500 starts everytime just like that.

    I guess :poke:

In a pinch if it's really cold out and you haven't fooled it, you can always fire up a Mr. Heater next to it for a spell. I had to thaw out the jeep a couple times last year with one.

If you know you are going to ride it the next morning or even that evening, use an electric blanket and space/emergency blanket. Wrap the electric blanket around the engine then cover that with the space blanket. Should help. I had a 400ex and miss it. They are loads of fun.

I had a yamahe wothout fuel injection and my quad and it would never start when it was really cold until i started hooking the battery up to a charger and leaving it at the lowest level. After that i never had a problem.

Do like they did with cars in the old days. Put it to bed with covered with a tarp, an extension cord and a single lite bulb under it. I think my Polaris will start just fine with the EFI.... but I keep it in a garage with my truck so it's never
REALLY cold.. Garage is insulated all around and above. Had to plow this morning.... started right up first crank. Although last night it only got to 5... we have had minus 15 days though. Bottled water never freezes in the garage sitting on the concrete floor.

After the choke thing, remember to let it idle for 2-4 minutes and then you should be golden.

Not me, I actually cut mine completely out because they seized up

I rock my quad back and forth when it doesn't want to start, seems to speed up the starting process on mine.
