For the most part all of the stan thumb releases are the same quality. Each one will have some different features or shape/sizing changes to fit better.

I preferred the sx2 to the shootoff and personally hated any in the justX line

I've been shooting the SX2 for about 2 years now. It's my favorite release by far.

See I tried the Just X and loved it. I guess it's all about personal preference.

Since I was unable to find anyone with a Just X in stock I ended up going with the Scott Exxus and have been very happy with it so far.

Stanislawskis are great for a few reasons. Personally, I like that they offer multiple sizes to help a shooter find the best fit for them. The trainer lock is great, I know a lot of folks that have dry fired or misfired when getting used to a thumb release so to me that is a plus. Last but not least, dependability. These things can take a beating and will never let you down. If you are looking at a Stan, you might also want to check out some of the Carter releases. I use the Target 4 and love it, but in the end it is all about preference.

Thumb releases are all about feel, providing they have the same features( click to load, adjustable travel ect)

Otherwise it's finding On that fits your had well and is comfortable and repeatable.
Stan, carter, Scott, and hot shot all make solid products that will work.
