I don't mind standing corn as long as It's not a huge chunk of It.

I'm hating it this year. Normally I like having it on the farm, but with the weather we've been having the deer are just staying in it. We can't really do much about it except P&M so what difference does it make? The farmers have to make money too and drying the crops with fuel prices SUCKS!

Not sure what I hate more a full moon or standing corn. I vote to ban them both! 1/2 my land is useless until the corn goes.

cut corn is a real attractant to deer ... I wanted to hunt this little cut corn field in the back of the alfalfa field, but the wind was blowing so hard .... so I didn't ..when I came out from the creek bottom ... I see a huge deer in the corn with 2 smaller ones .... right about 15 yards from where I was gonna hang a stand  ...the deer didn'y care ,, the gusts were moving me ... ARG

    YES.

Hunted the usual spot this morning. Did not see a thing. Nothing. Corn up all over the place.

Go to a new spot that my buddies FIL owns. Only crops with in 2 miles are a few old, unplanted this year, bean fields. The place is CRAWLING with deer. Spooked a bunch just getting to where his stand is. I like the guy, but he is a horrible hunter. (thread to follow about that)

Yes.... The corn still being up most places SUCKS. Who's building a Ark?

Be there the day of and the days right after the harvest. Great hunting at that time.
