No I think your watch was a half an hour too early. That would have been hard to pass up!

I like our hunting hours. Half hour before sunrise and a half hour after sunset. If you see a buck after that it's with a flashlight.

Something is confused here. Our state does in fact allow shooting of deer with a bow 1/2 hour after sunset. This photo was clearly taken during legal time. My guess is that the time on the camera is an hour off due to the daylight savings time change. It is completely dark by 6pm. This photo looks to be taken at 5pm.

Agree with fletch. Idk anywhere that still has that much daylight left at 6:01pm anymore haha. Your camera is probably an hour off from daylight savings

My guess is the OP simply was not hunting that day. I know the feeling!

If camera time is wrong he might be looking for new camera after that one gets slammed to the ground!

I only change the cards about every 2 weeks or so and never thought about the hour change. Be a good project with the granddaughter tomorrow. So your right, it would have been legal shooting - except I wasn't there that evening. Company so didn't go out. Had real dense fog a few mornings earlier at the same location. Saw a figure out about 30 feet out but fog was so thick could not tell what it was. Could not find it in the scope before it disappeared.

Read the prior post. My camera was still on DST, which would have been 5 for the hour, rather than 6. Don' know exactly what you meant by the last comment but will consider the source.

A lot of people here actually read the thread prior to posting in it. It seems to make their comments a little more relevant. You should give it a try and see how that works.

LittleChief would have shot him, then the arrow would have hit two other deer.
