Muddy boss xl or the smaller version. They are both around $100.

The hawk mega combat is ok for the $. I bought a couple of those combo packs with 4 sticks and lifeline for 2 bills. The thing I don’t like on cheaper climbers is the lack of leveling ability. Other than that they’re ok. Too heavy/noisy for portable rig.

Cabelas has $65 off the hawk helium pro. Making it $115. Light with a very good seat. I’d go with that and some muddy sticks for $79

I would love to try a Lone Wolf set up. But my budget doesn't allow it right now. I have three kids, one of whom is a 10 week old baby, so my wife is not working right now. If we were both working I would have the extra money to consider a Lone Wolf.

Sounds to me with the kids it might be good to invest in another ground blind. Then in the off season shop craigslist for another climbing, then you probably could get it for half price.

Pretty high since there are four, you can space them out a bit. I think it would be easy to get 25 to 30ft up

For what your describing I would get a cheap tree ladder, you can get a 20 footer for like 40 bucks. Then I would would buy the best hang on possible with your remaining budget. You could probably get a hawk helium XL, it's a good stand and very light for moving it around. Since your stand got stolen I'd throw up your tree ladder where you want it and back pack your stand in when you want to hunt. Takes an extra 5 minutes to hang and pull it down when your done. This way your not loosing another 200 dollar set up. I will warn you, you will not find a more comfortable stand then your summit. I'd be lost without mine, but then again I hunt a different tree every other hunt.

What a bunch of bastard thieves. I've always equated hunting with honesty. And I've always felt my best mentally in the woods.

Wish I was a rich sob and could send you all new stands. Especially the guys who have a hard time shelling out $200 for a new bc some sob stole their stand.

I ended buying this combo from Hawk through Cabelas. Unfortunately, there is no Cabelas near me so I had to pay for shipping. Oh well, it is supposed to be at my house by December 19th so I should get a chance to try it out this season. The stand, four steps and a HSS lifeline for $199.99. plus shipping and tax. I tried to get Bass Pro to price match it since I have one near me, but Bass Pro does not sell the steps so they could not do it.

Normally $200 for a new stand would not be a big deal but my wife isn't working for a little while since we just had a baby.

Little late to the party but I have the Hawk Combat (not mega) that I bought from Cabela's last year about this time. I really like the stand! I don't see a need for the mega in my situation. That, a cheap set of sticks from Sportsmans Guide and a lifeline cost me about $120 then.

We’ve all been in those situations where you have to watch your pennies. You should see the duck gun I used for a few years haha. Bought it off a buddies dad for $100 when I was in a pinch between jobs. Funny thing is I think I only have one other gun that has killed more ducks. Glad you found a setup that will work. I bought a couple of those combos and they really aren’t too bad.

I thought about just buying another Summit Climber to replace the model I had stolen cost more than this set up. I have never used a hang and hunt setup before so I thought I would try this. The only complaint I have ever had about using a climber is that low limbs can limit the tree selection for the stand. With the ladder steps and I hoping to avoid that and pick better trees on the deer trails.
