stand placement

    hey i got a stand by a very small field along a creek. and another by persimmon trees. i've only seen does and a 4 point, and i know we got big bucks in my area. any advice were i should put my stand?

    Sounds like it could be a good spot. You probably don't want to camp out there. If your stand is more permanent such as a ladder than it is tough to move. However, if you have a climber or something more portable it is good to move around. That may be a great spot but if you hunt it routinely the deer will pattern you. Typically, the first time you hunt a spot is your best time to kill any deer. Good luck and try to be mobile!
