i stand most the time. lean against the tree alot too. every once in awhile ill sit down to relax. cant sit too long though because i have been known to fall asleep. and you cant shoot em if you are snoring
If I'm in my summit open shot I usually sit and shoot. If I'm in my other climber I will stand so I have better clearance over the safety bar.
I do both. I prefer to stand and lean back against the tree because I feel like it blends me in better and I can keep a lookout without as much movement. I have only shot one deer being seated. First light and that last hour before dark I always stand. When a deer comes in I always grab my bow first, followed by making the decision if I can stand without getting busted.
I sit the entire time, but I stand up for the shot. I normally sit in the dark in morning hunts, then stand up at first light for prime time. Then I end up sitting after about 45 mins to an hour. Evening hunts I sit the entire time, about 1 hour to 45 before last light I stay standing. I always stand up though when I see deer for the shot.
Well I sit until I need to stretch out then I stand for a while then sit back down. But will most of the time stand when taking a shot or sit if I don't have the opportunity to stand up.
I stand most of the time if I'm hunting by myself. If I'm with my wife, I sit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
mornings i stand till 8 then sit and evening i'll sit until there is a hour of shooting light left then i'll stand
Whatever requires the least movement. In the blind on the ground I am sitting. In my platform blind I am kneeling on one knee because of the angle.
Sit and shot from a seated position. Only stand to stretch my legs etc. I find I fidget to much when I'm standing. Move my arms and look around to much. I sit and just listen or read a book and nod off from time to time. Kilboars Hunt Club
