I'm new to bow hunting and want to know good spots to set stands. I've placed a new stand and put a trail cam near and haven't had any pictures of deer and i set the camera on what I thought was a deer path. Please help!!!!

How long has the camera been out? You have to let them sit for awhile before you get any pictures, especially if you hung a stand nearby. This would cause a fair amount of pressure on the area, and the deer.

Also, some good areas to look for are multiple deer trails that lead to one, usually these are in "pinch points" where cover narrows and the deer are more condensed into an area. Routes to and from areas where they feed are other good spots. I am not sure where you are from but many parts of the midwest are starting to see rut and pre rut activity. You can see random spots that are lightly dug up, these are called scrapes and are commonly under a tree with a low overhanging branch that a deer can reach. If you find one it may not be a bad idea to set the camera near it because of the increased activity in that area.
