Just got in my new SX3 release I ordered and even though I only have shot about 25 arrows with it I love it! It is such an improvement over my wrist release, can't wait to finish setting it up. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Just remember not to let it go and don't let your buddies shoot your bow with it. You will be surprised how many people have let a hand held release go at the shot. Switching to a handheld was the best move I have ever made I do believe. Hope you continue to enjoy it.
Keep us posted. I was looking at one of these Monday at the shop & couldn't pull the trigger on getting it. Shot it a few times but just wasn't sure. I'm gonna go back & shoot it some more when I have a chance. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Congrats on the new release. I switched to a handheld last year and saved money to purchase the SX3 as well. I don't regret getting the release has greatly improved my accuracy and target panic.
I've been shooting my SX3/SX2 for over a year now and love it as much today when I was out launching some arrows from my Prime Rival as the day it arrived. Take your time during the transition phase and don't focus on accuracy from the onset, just learn proper execution at a blank bale or up close. Shawn Padgett on Archery Talk is a great resource for learning to shoot a hand held......FYI. Best of luck.
I started training with an Element TL, but may migrate to an SX3 or Shootoff for hunting. Any idea which is a better transition from the Element? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have only had my SX3 a few days but I really like it, don't think you could wrong with it. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
