So thinking of trying some still hunting / stalking.
On foot working with the wind and knowing where the deer are feeding I have a back entrance.
Its a lot of cut-overs with some horse trails through them and no tall trees.
So anyone done it - I am thinking moving slow and with the wind in my face should be doable.

Ive done this while coyote hunting with my bow tons of fun and extremeley rewarding when it wrks
Ive learned thatother than playing the wind terrain can b your best friend or worst enemy. A creak bed or river bank is my fav way to stalk.
    Good luck

Tough stuff, but I love it for a change of pace. Especailly if I want to scout an area mid season!

I do it every time I get out of my stand. It would've paid off this year already had I wanted to let one fly at a deer that practically had spots.
