IMHO: there are a bunch of good brands out there. With a stabilizer it's not like a sight or a rest where you know right away if you like it. As long as it doesn't throw your bow way out of balance & make it any louder you really don't notice it. I went with one that was brand specific for my bow & matched the color scheme of my set up. As long as it wasn't one of those goofy 4' ones like the target shooters use I highly doubt I'd be able to tell the difference between my current model & 6 of the other comparable ones out there.

If you put a 15" out front you will be pretty front heavy and probably end up needing a 7"-8" side bar to counter and may end up needing weights on the side bar.

For hunting I run a 10" Stokerized Hunter and it works great without too much up front. I now have a 20" Stokerized up front and moved the 10" to the side for 3D.

Here it is set up for hunting.

If possible, go to a shop and see if they will let you try some different ones out. That will give you a chance to see how different set ups change the feel of YOUR bow. The same set up on mine may not feel the same nor yield the same results.

15" is a little long for hunting IMO. If you want a long one I'd try to stay under 11"
