Okay guys currently have an Octane 5" Ultra-light stabilizer and am looking for something in the 7" range. What are your suggestions and reasons why?

Unless you are going to get into something a lot longer I wouldn't bother. If you just want a cosmetic change then by all means swap it out.

I just bought another stabilizer cause I too wanted something slightly longer. I had a 5" Axion Gridlock Stabilizer, I will still be keeping it, but don't know how much use it will get anymore to be honest. I went with a Pine Ridge Archery 7.5" Nitro Stabilizer in Lost Camo/Green. For the price you can't go wrong and I love the feel so far and it has put a little more weight forward for me which is what I was trying to do.

I was wondering why a stabilizer is even needed. I kinda like the balance and feel without one. It doesnt seem to effect my accuracy or noise or vibration .

What type of bee stinger? Sport hunter extreme or pro hunter maxx?

You haven't shot one that is affective then. What distances have you shot with one and what lengths have you tried? Step out to 40 or so with a good 10-12" and see if you still think that. Add a side bar then you'll really get to see what they do.

Yea, I have a Stokerized SS1 paired up with my brand new Elite Energy 35 in ninja. I notice a distinct difference in my shooting at yardages past 40.
