I just got a Mathews Triax and was looking for a good stabilizer for it. I have a limb driver rest and spot hogg real deal sight looking to make this my main hunting rig and am planning an elk hunt in two years.
Hey Frosty do you have a bow shop nearby. Reason I ask is that its ideal to try the stabilizer out if possible. Mainly to find one that "feels" right to you. Ultimately you want one that will help stabilize your shot and a lot of that has to deal with consistency and overall feel of the bow. I currently am shooting a 10 inch Beestinger and it works great but you may think differently. Also have to consider what you will be doing. But would not hurt to ask the shop if they will let you try a few. It doesn't damage them and there is no wear. You especially want to see how the bow holds at full draw. Hope that helps.
I'm a fan of bee stinger as well... With the adjustable plate weights the only question is length preference.
The bow shop has a very limited stabilizer variety. Truthfully I haven't even shot the bow yet I won it in a bow raffle. Just looking for different options I currently have a bee stinger on my halon which I will try on it.
The new Mathews stabs work awesome and look great on the new triax I don't have one but we have one setup as a demo in the shop with them the 6 in in the back and 8 in in front I can take a pic tomorrow when I'm back at the shop.
