I currently bought a Stokerized SS1. I am wanting to get a quick disconnect for it but I can not find one that will work. Only reason I want one is because it doesn't fit in my case while on the bow and I don't want to have to take it off and put it back on every time I go hunting. Anyone know of one that will work with this stabilizer?? Below is a picture of the stabilizer if you are not familiar with them.

    Thanks,
    Hunter

I don't think my here is one that will fit. Especially since you want it in the same spot every time so it balances exactly the same. If it really bothers you I recommend getting a dead center archery products hunter stabilizer set up. I went from an ss1 to this and love it so much more.[IMG][IMG]

That's a great looking bow man. I did look at that set-up when I was looking for a new stabilizer but choose the SS1 over it. I love the stabilizer but was hopeing there was a disconnect that would work that I was not aware of. It isn't a huge problem but I would like to be able to remove it from the bow and then be able to put it back on in exactly the same position.

Yeah I loved the ss1 but to me this set up was far more adjustable, offered quick disconnects and made me more accurate. And thanks I live this bow

Just curious how much did the dead center stabilizer setup cost? I never priced them when I was looking at them.

It was right around 170 without tax. You could definitely get it cheaper if you buy used. And you could also sell your ss1. It's worth it though. Great system.

I like my Gizmo by Carter. I don't know if it will work or you.

How far do you have to turn it for it to lock? It says 360 degrees and if so I can't turn the SS1 that far without haveing it hit the riser. That is the best idea I have found so far though. Thanks man!

Didn't think about that. The thread looks short enough to not turn that far.

I don't know if it's too late for you. I checked mine out yesterday and it takes no more than 3/4 of a turn.
