Hows a good method on choosing a stabilizer for your bow? Its not like any of the archery shops around me have any out for you to screw on your bow to test. Is there any out there that are like a adjustable weight if you need it to be? I just dont want to get one way too heavy.

That's a bummer about your shops. I just picked up (well, ordered since they didn't have the Realtree model in stock) a new Axion. The Fuse Carbon Torch comes with three disks and adjusts from 1-5 oz. (1 3oz and 2 1 oz). If there's any way you can try them out I would. I had to drive clear across town (30-40 min) to do it but I'd do it again.

Today I tried the Axion Silencer Hybrid, Hoyt Pro, and Bee Stinger Sport Hunter. At 20 yards I noticed the most difference with the Axion. My groups were tighter and the sight moved less. Now the long wait for it to come in. :(

Did you ask if you could shoot some different stabilizers? Mine doesn't' have them just laying around to use. But if you ask you can shoot any stab on the wall.

Where are you? If you are near me, you could stop by. I have about 15 you can try. KTechs on all my bows now.

Bee Stinger makes some good stabilizers. You can purchase different weights to put on the front so if you need something lighter or heavier, you can buy different weights to put on the front. I've recently gone away from using one altogether. New bow shoots good without so I'm not using one but I used a Bee Stinger in the past.

I asked them and they more less said they couldnt take em out of the package for me to try. That was in hespria which is still half hour or more drive for me. We have one shop here in muskegon and id rather go without then deal with that guy. He is rather a pompus a** and if u dont shoot pse then he gets worse. Anyways i just found a trophy ridge static 6 in for 23 (new), so i ordered it to see how that works out. Not even sure if ill need one. New to me bow coming, mathews z7 but ill see. Thanks for all the advice.

When I had a Z7 I tried about 10-12 different stabs. Mine like the KTech Tech7 the best of what I have.
