Just picked up a Halon 6 Saturday. I couldn't resist any longer. I'm upgrading from a mission venture. I was shooting a 6" limb saver stabilizer but was thinking about trying to get somethin a little better. I was able to hit out to 75 with my venture. I haven't sighted in my Halon that far yet but I expect to be able to do the same.

I've heard good things about Bee Stingers, but also read that I need more weight back on a halon. So I was thinking of an 8" or 6" with a quick connect. Not sure I want to get a back bar just yet. Most of my hunting is pretty close, less than 40yds I'd say. It's pretty thick down here in southern MS. I'm planning on going out to MT next fall though and I'd like my setup to have he ability to reach out. Even if just for practice now.

    I'm shooting 29" @ 68lbs
    Maxima red 350s
    QAD Exodus 125
    MBG Ascent 4 pin
    Tight spot quiver
    Stab: What do you think?

Sorry I know there are some other threads on this already. I'm hoping somebody has tried several lengths on a similar setup and can weigh in.

I have a 10.8 beestinger kit and a 6 inch beestinger. I am running it with no stabilizer out front with the 8 inch as the back bar.

I find that I need very little stabilizer on my halon 5. I'm switching my to a 6" bee stinger

I shoot a Hoyt Pro Defiant but I really liked the Axion SSG6 I was shooting before adding a Tactacam.
