I usually get to the stand fairly early and won't see deer for the first hour or so, I usually have two practice "squirrel" arrows. I always look around and make sure I don't see any deer, then I will shoot a squirrel if given the chance. Shot two squirrels and a doe last year in the same sit.

Just wondering here. How do you score trophy squirrels, and lets see some mounts.

I've always thought it'd be fun to sit up in a tree and try to pick squirrels off with a blow gun. I asked my local warden this morning if that was considered legal equipment since there is nothing specific about it in the regs. He said he'd have to ask his supervisor haha, apparently this has never come up for him in the past.

Followup, sadly I got the thumbs down on the blow gun idea.

me too. Only animals I will shoot are deer, coyote, and a fall turkey if in season while in a stand.

The only exception i make when it comes to shooting squirrels is when they pick me out and start barking and carrying on.
Don't start nuttin won't be nuttin.
    See what i did there.
