I am looking at picking up some new cell cams. I am in between Moultrie or Spypoint. I have one Moultrie, and it is not bad. I am looking for people who run either and have pros and cons.

I've never owned any moultries except the very old ones about 30yrs ago, they weren't cellular. I have owned several spypoints. They can work ok until they dont. Then you have to deal with their customer service which is a nightmare. I'd say stay far away from them

I have not ran Spypoints but ran two Moultrie's last season. The Moultrie's did ok compared to the Spartan's that I use. They seemed to miss a few shots of myself while walking by on occasion. I do like that they connect to the strongest service that is available in the area. They did well enough that I will use them again this fall.

I feel like my moultrie camera does not take the clearest pictures.

My first cellcam was a Spypoint, and like pastorjim said they work until they don't. Once it stopped, I couldn't get it going again(even with contact to support) I've used both moultrie sd + cellular and for the price, the moultrie would be my reccomendation.
Last fall I shared a Moultrie account with a friend of mine who purchased the cameras and I got to see them firsthand. I couldn't tell you the exact model, but the images weren't the clearest but I was very impressed when I requested a video. As for Spypoint, that was my first cellular camera I ever purchased, and I had the same issues as pastorjim.

I run Moultrie cell cams on my deer property and for my nuisance wildlife business. I think they are a good camera haven’t had a problem with them at all. I would recommend getting the edge pro at least.

Looks like I'm sticking with Moultrie. Thanks for the advice.
