I just scored a Spypoint Force 10 off Jet.com for $57. I know the reviews are mixed and the night time photos are not the Best Buy for that price I couldn't pass it up. That's shipping and everything. They gave me a $10 credit because I complained the price jumped from $74 to $84. Then it went back to $74 today, I used the first time buyer 15% off and bam. $57 shipped to the door. I will do a review later when I get it if anyone is interested. I was going to buy the Browning Strike Force but it would of cost me about $92. Couldn't pass up the $57 deal. Head on over if interested. Send an email complaining and they may give ya the $10 credit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I got one for free a couple weeks ago. A guy decided to come onto our farm and put one overlooking a little pond about 15 yards on our side of the fence. Bingo.... new Spypoint camera in my arsenal. Funny thing is I already had a camera looking at the pond and I'm almost certain he saw it and he still went two trees over and put his up. Silly Wabbit. Trespassing pictures and a sacrificial camera. Booyah. Actually if the master ninja called me I'd probably give him his camera back but they've been sneaking over and turkey hunting too so he is at least going to have to call.
I bought two off the same site. While I don't have a ton of experience with cams (1 older browning), here's some thoughts. #1. The trigger speed is so fast I often get 1-2 pics before the animal is in the field of view. #2. Don't use the instant feature! Set one out for 3 days & wanted to move it & had over 1200 pics of does!! Still experimenting with how many burst shot & time in between. #3. Both day & night pics are fair at best. If all ur looking for is to be able to count antler points, these cams are fine. I was hoping for at least as good as my 10 mp browning (older model) but NOT as good. #4. Zooming in on even the clearest pic, it becomes very pixilated With this being said, I'm not unhappy with my purchase, just not as good as I hoped for. I would buy another browning. Here's a couple of pics Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting.com Forums
Thanks for the info. I really wanted to grab a browning as well but I just couldn't pass up the price. I have the Spypoint Evo Link 4g and really like it so I figured I would try it. Nice pics you posted too. Good luck this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What's the EVO like? I haven't seen that one. Good luck to you too Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting.com Forums
Hey Seth, now that I’ve had them a few months I’m starting to like them better. Still not the greatest quality of pics, but the instant mode is far better than originally thought. Just have to be willing to delete a ton of pics that triggers the cam before the deer enters the frame. Also, have had issues with them? One of mine will take a few normal night pics then the flash turns off & all I get is black pics. I thought it was a battery issue. Replaced them but not any better. Thoughts?
