I use my same set up for turkey hunting as i do deer hunting. Only thing i change on my set up is i go from a rage 2 blade to a 3 blade being the fact you get more of a chunk not a sliver like t- bone says on the G5 commercial, i also do that because i shoot for wadles and up only. But when bow hunting for turkeys a blind is much need to help better your odds of not being caught while drawing your bow back, you can do it with out a blind but it is much harder. Just keep working on the mouth call and you will get there i was able to pick it up pretty quick.

Got my turkey permit today. Will be my daughter's first turkey hunt, so will be with a gun for her, but hoping I can lure another Tom in for my bow. New blind and decoys waiting for Spring!

I am in the same boat as you haven't gone turkey hunting a whole lot the last couple years last I went my friend did the calling. I have been working on my calling because I plan to get my gf on her first bird this year and hopefully get my first with my bow. I just recently purchased peepn Tom and pretty penny decoys for 56 dollars on amazon. Have to get my blind out and make sure two peoe can fit comfortably in it. I had bought some kind of backer that goes behind a broadhead a few years ago but I have yet to use it on a bird does a number on a target though...yikes. I am using the trusty ol thunderheads going to be switching to something different next fall. Good luck turkey hunting this spring and keep us all posted

I've got a couple killzones I used on does this year that are still in working order, I'm hoping to punch those through a couple Kansas long beards this spring. My wife got me a barronett grounder 350 blind for my birthday, so maybe with a lil calling or good decoy setup I can lure a Tom in to getting whacked on video. I can't wait for April to chase these birds around.
