Anyone have any suggestions for a free image editing software? I have Photo Explosion but I don't like it at all and would like to find something else that works well.

    Thanks Trevor
I just picked up the new Nikon D7100 and am still getting used to it. I find it crazy that I'm upgrading from my D300 to a camera that costs 2/3 the price of what I paid for the D300 about 4 years ago. So far I'm liking it though.

No idea on free editing software. I bought Adobe Lightroom last year and I do most of my editing on there. Alot of tutorials on Youtube for pretty much any photo editing software available. If you find something you are curious about, search it. If you plan to invest the money, I would always suggest looking to Adobe products first.

By the way his buddy is "holding" that gun, I think he'll take care of shooting himself.

I don't know crap about photography but for some reason I like taking pictures. Here are a few from this spring's "excursions". I really like the pics posted so far. Gotta say the bull frog and the Easter egg hunt are my favorites though. :D

JGD, I like where you are going with those photos. I especially like macro photography. Are you using a dslr, if so what kind? It seems like with a few tweeks in your settings those would be spot on great photos. Thanks for sharing!

Trevor, I'm using the Canon EOS T1i. I'm not kidding when I say I don't know anything about photography. I bought this camera cheap from my brother who needed the money and I'm guessing it has a lot of capabilities I know nothing about. I'm reading the manual and trying to learn though. Thanks for the encouragement. I should have had you show me some things at Dubbya's wedding last August! :D

I have had my camera for a few years now and I still know nothing about it. I love my Rebel XSi but I honestly don't have a clue how to get real good photo's from it.

Just snatched this one out my bedroom window. I know nothing about photography but I really like how this turned out. I'm kinda starting to get into it- Its pretty awesome the stuff you are able to capture.

It's about time I asked this question: how do I make it so you don't have to click the picture to view it larger?

I would like to know the same. In a way I like it more, the post wont take up so much space on the page!
