Spring Gobbler Season In NC

    I know this is a bowhunting site but just wanted to show him off. He was about 20lbs., 9 inch beard, 1 inch spurs. Probably a solid 2 to 2 1/2 year old. Wish I could say I hit him with my bow but it was the old trusty Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag. He was shot at 8:30 this past sat which was opening day in North Carolina.

    Its my first bird so Im pretty proud of em.
