I wish the snow around here would finally give it up. I've got spring fever and want to get my car back to the track and finish getting it tuned in. I've had it out the last couple of days and blew the cobwebs out of it. It sure was fun!
You're right, it is a '69 with quite a few adjustments made to it. Trying to keep it stock looking except for the narrowed rear end. Thanks
Ice is melting I have a project boat that has a slightly overrated motor on the back, something about going 45 mph in a 300 pound boat is exciting.
engine is a 461 cid bbc (.030 over 454), alum heads, big hyd cam, 830 holley dp carb and 2" headers. Trans is a built th 400 with a reverse gear manual valve body (needs to be shifted manually) and a 4000 rpm stall converter. has a ford 9" rear end with 3.89 gears soon to be 4.30. Suspension is tubular a-arms with coil overs and double adjustable shocks in front and ladder bars with coil overs and da shocks in back. Rear tires are MT et street ss drag radials size 31-18-15 lt. Took it to the track 3 times last year and so far got it into the 11.70's @ 114 mph. No cage or roll bar super clean interior. Car weighs 3700 lbs with me in it. Here is a pic of my buddy helping getting it ready to go to the track.
