Does anyone have any good recommendations on a spotting scope. I want quality glass for a reasonable price. (under $1000) I'm looking for somethin 20-60 power and 80 mm. I was looking at some Leupold, but willing to take suggestions.

Check out vortex optics. I bought some binoculars from them and love them. They are high quality at an affordable price. Their lifetime warranty can't be beat either. Check 'em out.

If you were a real hunter, you wouldn't need a spotting scope to find a deer.
