I think I know what he means.. Does the regular one have a 2 dot version? I know the XL does. Either way a 2 dot will allow to you shoot longer distance. Shooting 500gr TAW arrows I am good out to 85 yards. If I was using stock ~435gr arrows I could get an easy 100 yards.
If you contact Spot Hogg about the oversized nob, they have a small set screw that goes in and is not in the way of the quiver. I talked to the guys at spot Hogg and they said all the sights come with the small screw and most people throw it out not realizing it. I personally don't remember throwing it out but they gave me a new one.
