Like you can trust the rest of the candidates standing there with there hands out grabbing up all the super pac money with all the favors and strings attached to it.
The only thing more asinine then believing all the candidates aren't all part of the same hypocrisy is actually articulating that idea.

That is the whole willful ignorance I mention from time to time.

Exactly!! He's an awesome business man and "he's really rich", but he's got zero experience dealing with world issues (social/political).

Trump has made contributions to the Clinton's for years. In my opinion, he is a bit of a chameleon. I am starting to think that Rubio might be far more electable than Trump and he might have a little more tact when it comes to foreign relations.

I can be ok with a candidate who I may disagree with from time to time, so long as they mean what they say and say what they mean and agree with the 5 core things I believe in:

    1. Don't meddle with governmental powers (enforce the Constitution)
    2. Secure borders/protect the country
    3. Don't meddle with business/capitalism (no favorites)
    4. Less federal government, give powers back to states
    5. Lower taxes

And how has that worked for us? Justifying a second mistake based on a first isn't a very good argument in favor of Trump.

I'm not trying to justify it. Just pointing out that there is a total double standard. Liberals saw no issue with Obama's lack of experience or qualifications. In fact they touted it, as if he wasn't part of the government establishment. One of the reasons he was so popular among the young voters. Now, they scream that Trump doesn't know anything about politics because he doesn't have any experience or qualifications.

I can agree with that when it's put forth. My reaction when someone says Trump doesn't have any "experience in politics" is the same as when they claim he's an outsider. As a big businessman of how many years(?)...he's one of the big money guys that probably has more experience putting money in the right pockets (which IS politics these days) than anyone else running. The difference being that he was on the putting money in side rather that taking it but both sides are corrupt. Which makes him as corrupt as any politician and just as experienced if not more.

The question is, is that the right kind of experience we want. We know he contributed more money to the dem party in the past than the repub party and to the Clintons in particular and though I agree with much of what he says, I can't get over the loathing I have for his personal character. I'm torn between Cruz and Trump. I've always been a supporter of Cruz but he's saying and doing some things I adamantly disagree with as well and I don't like the idea that overlooking his birth circumstances basically validates Obama's. Rubio isn't an option for me at all any more than Jeb Bush was. I guess I just basically narrowed my options down to Trump rereading what I just wrote, lol. I just don't like the idea of supporting an arrogant spoiled brat know it all that I don't believe for a minute is an actual republican based on his past support. Trumps biggest up sides are that at least he knows the right things to say to get my attention and he can probably win on the coasts where no other republican would have a chance at winning squat.
    I have no answers either.

It's truly amazing that these are the best candidates that either party are willing to trot out there. Hillary Clinton should be in Prison, Bernie Sanders should be in a mental institute, Trump is a sensationalist and Ted Cruz doesn't energize the voting class. I have no answers either, it's hard to believe these are the best and brightest people we can find to run this country.

One look at the list of donors from Cruz's and Rubio's super pacs is enough to convince me not to vote for them.

I agree, and that's the really scary part of all of this! But, I think we just might see our first lady President.
