    If you own a Model Silent Adrenaline or Apache Treestand purchased from the sportsman guide, do not use them they are being recalled due to cable failure.

    There is always a reason why a product is cheaper, companies do not give away quality.

    Thanks for the notice.Where are they made? Made by another company under the SG label?
    Price doesn't always reflect quality. Look at all the recalls on cars and trucks over the past 10 years. A local lady had a Rolls-Royce that wouldn't start the day after she bought it. Another new R-R had a fuel pump go out.

    Price is a pretty damn good indicator of quality in most cases.

    I agree. I like the TV ads- "A $99 value for only $19.95 plus shipping and handling." Why is it so cheap? My son followed up on a similar ad. S&H was 35% of the price. Hmm. Take a box off the shelf, print a label and send it.
