It just doesn't make sense to fire him now. Not sticking up for him... But the guy loves UM and understands the traditions there. The best thing to do is let this season ride out and let their board of trustees remove their heads from their asses and fire Dave Pizza Man Brandon and get a competent athletic director in place. Let that athletic director be the qualified individual to audit the state of their football program and make the changes he sees fit. Obviously it wasn't Lloyd Carr, Rich Rod or Hoke who broke the program. Their is a deeper issue, perhaps a culture that needs changed. There is no fight in that team. The only game they rise for is Ohio State. There has been no fight against Sparty or Notre Dame. It wouldn't take much to get UofM back together. They have all of the ingredients to be successful... They just need a qualified person to sort it out and get it back on track.
I think they need a change as well. After the season I would terminate both the AD and coach. Let the new AD bring in somebody and make their mark on the program and try and change the culture at the UofM. If they keep seeing empty seats at the big house I am not sure what will happen in the long run. On a side note Buckeye hows your season going? haven't heard from you on the team thread in along time.
