Child abuse. Rape. Sexual assault. Murder. Accidental death. Suicides. Steroids. Kidnapping. Illegal recruiting. The list of "illegal" and "deviant" activities that are occurring these days is unbelievable to me.

Are all these acts things that have just started increasing in the last 10 years? Or, like in the Penn State scandal, have these things been happening forever without the media getting wind of it?

    Discuss.

The only difference is the media coverage, and what journalists are choosing to cover. TONS of stories of things that happened in "the old days". The media or reporters knew about much of it, it just wasn't "reported".

Read up about all the cheating, losing games on purpose, and just pure racism in sports during the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, etc. And trust me, rape, murder, assault, all of that has been happening forever. Just now have 24/7 media coverage of everything.

There are kids playing now who never had a father figure or three meals a day. CFB does way more good, but the media does not focus on what is right with CFB. There is a lot right with CFB right now.
