Totally agree with you on Pointers--also add heart and drive first time posting--new member-- hope I attached the picture right have 2 also
I wasn't going to do it but I have to show some pictures of Hailey. She left us in 2008 but still is with us in spirit. I'm still not over her being gone to this day. And that is the reason we have not got another dog yet. I am thinking next year we will get a chocolate lab puppy.
It certainly isnt the classic point, but she absolutely wont budge until I slap her on the butt. Until I do that she just gives me the side eye look waiting for the slap. Watching the dog work is the best part of the hunt.
Pete, nice lookin pointer!! I hunt quail with my pointers in AZ as well as Huns/Sharpies and pheasants in the Dakotas. Nothing better!! Its fun to see the pics rolling in, glad to see all the proud dog owners showing off. Keep em coming!
GFY, what a pretty springer. My dad has to put his down next week, it will be a sad day. They are a pheasants worst nightmare!! Great pics.
It's funny that you call her "pretty" because that is what so many people said when they met her. And you picked it our 3 years later off just two pictures. She truly was a special dog that I will still weep many times more about.
man, yall have some great dogs/stories. sad thing is i'll prob never get a chance to have one of my own... with work im gone too much and really wont have one unless i have a huge back yard for it to live in.
