Dan - I usually DO only find spikes, forkies and dinker 3's. Since I started hunting Ohio in 2007, let's just say that my shed hunting, and hunting in general, have each taken a positive turn. Ryan and I were talking, and all I know is that shed hunting is a hell of a lot more fun when you're actually finding antlers bigger than a 10" spike. Jeff - Based on my offseason efforts so far, I'm liking my "odds" for this fall. Off topic, but could you imagine if you were the Hamburger Helper, and delivered the shocker?! That would be epic.
Congrats on finging all those sheds. Haven't been able to get out yet. Hoping this Sunday I can get out w/my kid and find some. Was that land you hunt or just like you said pick a spot and ask permission to go in?
