Do any of you know how the spitfire maxx broad head does on quartering angles? Never shot them, but I thought for a change of pace I may play with them this year.

I shot the regular spitfires for a couple of years with no problems at any angle,Killed tons of deer with em. They work great and know alot of guys that still love shooting them. I just bought some Nap killzones today and they are worth giving a look at if you like the spitfires.

Yep! Looked at those yesterday myself. I have killed a bunch of deer with Rages, I just like experimenting. Let me ask you something. On the killzones, where the blades cross at the top in the open position it looks like the back edge of one of the blades is next to a sharp edge of the other blade. Is that what I am seeing? How sharp are they?

the blades are really sharp. and i just checked mine out and back edge is close to the sharp edge but the cutting part sticks out further so i dont see it as a issue.

Yeah when they are open they are close to each other but the blade sticks out more than the dull side.
Heres a pic of a wildebeest and a few other animals shot in south africa with the kill zones,The guys that own the bow shop i go to used em on these animals and pretty much sold me on the Killzones.
