We always have the biggest buck threads...

How about this for a change... I will keep track and send the winner something if there is any interest....

In this contest... Pick 5 guys / gals for your team who you feel will shoot a buck this fall.... NO PICKING YOURSELF!

Assign a P&Y score to each person as to what you feel they may shoot this year.

Who evers team is the closest to their projected score wins. So the idea is to pick hunters you feel will be successful taking a buck this fall. The size of the bucks they shoot is rather irrelevant to this contest, so it isn't a "big buck" contest. The hunters you choose and the size of the bucks you feel they will take down will determine how successful you are, not how big the bucks they shoot.

    Ex.
    "My predictions"

    Hunter 1, I predict a 100 inch buck.
    Hunter 2, I predict a 120 inch buck.
    Hunter 3, I predict a 110 inch buck.
    Hunter 4, I predict a 145 inch buck.
    Hunter 5, I predict a 130 inch buck.

That is a total of 605 predicted inches for this team.

"Actual results from the hunters 2009 bow season"

    Hunter 1, I predicted a 100 inch buck- Shot a 90 inch buck. Difference of 10 inches
    Hunter 2, I predicted a 120 inch buck- Shot a 135 inch buck. Difference of 15 inches
    Hunter 3, I predicted a 110 inch buck- Shot a 108 inch buck. Difference of 2 inches.
    Hunter 4, I predicted a 145 inch buck- Shot a 152 inch buck. Difference of 7 inches.
    Hunter 5, I predicted a 130 inch buck- Shot a 105 inch buck. Difference of 25 inches.

So I was off 59 inches.

The persons team who is the closest to zero would be the winner....

    Make sense?

Not bad, Scott. Now, just tell me what you plan on shooting this season. Then tell me what you plan on letting Dubbs shoot ;) and I'll pick the other 3 on my own :D

I'm comfortable with my picks (guesses) as of now. Of course if he slams a 150"+ maybe not so much!!
