I remember one now that scared me to death for awhile. It was back in middle school. My bedroom is downstairs away from everyone else. I would have times where i would feel something in the room with me and i couldnt figure out why. One night i couldnt fall asleep i was laying there and i started to hear footsteps but no one else was downstairs so it kind of creeped me out i closed my eye to try and fall asleep and all of the sudden i could move i felt paralyzed to to say and hear this screaming then a face or figure pops up in front of me. Once it disappeared and i could move again. I was so scared i didn't know what to do. Now it that isnt weird enough for you there is a possible explanation. A couple years later i started dating this girls blah blah, when her mom found out where i lived she said her grandpa committed suicide in the porch....right next to my room downstairs! I got the chills and still do. Apparently i live on suicide hill because there were other one that happened in the neighbors houses a long time ago. It all started to make some sense but it still creeps me out. Hopefully i dont have to experience anything like that again.
No ghost stories here, but there have been a couple of times over the last couple of years where I've come out of the bedroom and my 5 year old daughter has either been standing right at the bedroom door or in the kitchen. Middle of the night....not saying a word....eyes wide open....just standing there. Creepiest. Thing. Ever.
Actually now that I think about it I have a photo a buddy took of a few of us walking around an old abandoned mental institution near where I live. Three or four of us were standing in doorways leaning into the hall and poking our heads out the doors, while my one buddy took a pic from the hall. When he later uploaded it to his computer there is what looks to be two eyes at the same angle as ours sticking out a door in the pic. My mind tells me it's 2 dust particles earily close together, but the fact that the angles matche what we were doing leaves me second guessing that. I'll see if I can find he pic right now. I have a buddy that was in Iraq. His squad or whatever was checking a building or something. I don't know anything about the military. Anyways, one of the guys was filming, and according to my buddy, no one but them were in the building. He claims he is 100% sure of this. I swears on his life of this. Well when they watched the video, you can clearly see a woman and 2 children standing behind them in the video. I can't find the video, but I have some screenshots saved. From the pics, you can see one of the squad guys walking, but behind him is a woman with 2 small children. Again, he claims he never saw these people, and someone would have seen them if they were in the building.
About 10 years ago my dad and a few of his good friends got together at on of their cabins. They had been sitting around talking for awhile and conversation turned to a friend of theirs that had passed away quite a few years earlier. My dad's friend had hung a picture of him on the wall not long after he died. They were all looking at the picture and Gary said, "I sure miss that son of a *****." As soon as he said that, the picture that had been hanging there for years suddenly fell off the wall in front of their eyes. I have heard the story a number of times from my dad and his friend, it really affected them.
