Spin off of ghost stories thread: Anyone ever had a "UFO" experience??

I don't have any ghostly experiences to share so I figured I would start this thread and share a "UFO" experience I had.

It was the night of Jan 2nd 1992. I remember the date because it was the night of my 13th birthday. I was living in Hawaii at the time and after my party a few friends and I were just laying on the beach looking up at the stars. I remember this one distinctive star catching my attention. I stared at this star for what felt like 5 mins straight but it couldn't have actually been that long in real time. All of a sudden that mysterious star turned into a blueish green color shot straight down. It covered half the distance of the whole night sky in a matter of a second or two. Then suddenly stopped on a dime stayed there another second or two, still the odd blue green color, then shot straight back up halfway to where it originally sat. Stopped again for another second then just vanished.

This was an amazing and kind of spooky sight. My friend Suzanna that was sitting with me witnessed it aswell so I know I wasn't imagining it.

Anybody else have any kind of a "UFO" type experience to share?

 

I see the Space Station fly overhead every once in a while. The first time I saw a satellite, I was on a deer stand before daylight and that kind of freaked me out a little.

I once saw an SR71 land at night. That was pretty awesome.

I have never seen anything that I thought was alien if that is what you mean by UFO. I would love to see one though.

 

Ive seen one "UFO" before. My buddy and i were driving back from his brother college. We were on the high way, it was lae afternoon, full moon not a cloud in the sky. I was laying back relaxing when i saw this light shoot across the sky, my first thought was a plane or something like that but it was moving to fast and it wasnt blinking. It was just this ball and all of sudden it stopped started to get really bright and shot up into the sky and it was gone in the blink of an eye. I wont forget that, it was just weird and I've never seen anything like it since.

 

This kinda sounds exactly like what I saw but it was only vertical. Shot straight down stopped then shot straight back up halfway to where it started. Was pretty freaky.

 

Yeah what I saw was definitely 100% not a plane or any kind of craft we know of. It just moved way to fast and stopped suddenly and what not. Not sure what it was but not a possibility any human could withstand the g forces this type of movement would've produced. Was an amazing sight for sure.

 

Yeah it was definitely weird. I know it wasnt a satellite ive seen those before and it moved nothing like that.

 

Other than seeing thing somewhat similar to the stories already stated, bright light in the sky moving sporadically, I've never had a true UFO experience.

I would love to have one though. Much more so than a true ghost encounter.

There is a 100% chance that life exists elsewhere. Now whether or not that life is intelligent, or intelligent life still exists is another story. And then if we really want them visiting us, as if they have the technology to visit us, it would be like us visiting a planet full of roaches. We wouldn't think twice about wiping them out to get what we wanted.

 

I believe the same thing. Could also be the other way around. Meaning we are the much less evolved and technologically inferior ones. We could be being spied on and observed and never even know it.

 

This thread reminds me of watching Ancient Aliens in college, I miss killing brain cells.

 

Haha. I remember that show. That dudes hair was an intense alien form in itself. :D

 

I've had one I guess, I was prolly 8 or 9 an me an my dad were out puttin the turkeys to roost for the night. We were up on a hill sorta above a small valley where the turkeys were. Well as we sat there I saw 2 spots of light in the sky an told my dad. We sat there an watched as one went out the the left the other to the right, they instantly turned back towards each other and as they crossed each others path they vanished. It was weird an left us scratching our heads on the way back to camp. Never really was sure of what it was so I've always thought it was a UFO.

 

I felt the same way. Not sure what it was but know what I saw and it was definitely weird and amazing at the same time.

 

For sure, but the unknown is what freaks me out the most so needless to say I'd be happy never having another experience like that again bahahaha

Never had a UFO experience. But im with Hooker, there is life out there, and i believe it has probably visited earth a few times.

Look at all the ancient mysteries, such as Stone Henge, the Pyramids and Easter Island. Prehistoric man who couldn't even brush his teeth did not create those alone. Im not drinking that coolaid.

 

Yes, I was driving in to work one morning, stopped at a red light. This green light came speeding across the sky, stopped for several seconds then went back & away very fast & was gone. No man made craft could have cut & sped away like it did. I stopped in to the receptionist when I got to work telling her my story, because I thought I was nuts. About a half hour later she calls my office & says that all sorts of people were calling into the radio station about this UFO. Never did find out what the "cover story" was. But as far as I'm concerned it was a UFO.
