I am not concerned with how fast my hunting arrows go.

? why does it matter what your speed of the arrow is? Maybe its just me but what is the big hype of FPS.... my great great grandpa use to kill deer with a stick sharpend to a point. Maybe im wrong but its just not that big of a deal to me. however if you want an arrow that rebounds fast check these out http://nitrostingerusa.com/

arrows are Parallel to Taper Design
The patented parallel to tapered design reduces flex at the knock point and provides a shorter paradox, giving the arrow a flatter trajectory and transferring more kinetic energy for greater speed and penetration. Parallel to tapered design also creates a built-in front of center for superior accurace in hunting or target shooting. The energy transfer system allows for more forgiving shots by having less spine in the nock end and increased spine in the tip. The smaller nock end allows for greater fletch clearance and less air drag. Each time an arrow oscillates (from top to bottom) it looses kinetic energy and speed. The energy transfer system of Arrow Dynamics eliminates any oscillation by getting our fast with a little kick and then stabilizing. All other carbon arrows oscillate from firing our of the bow to impact. Simply put, that's not good!

I found them to be pretty weak. Expect that if you let it fly it won't survive to fly again.

For tapered arrows I prefer the Grizzlystik.

I shoot the arrow dynamic nitro stingers. I like them, they shoot great, and they have good penetration. I don't understand the parallel to tapered stuff yet though, before i started reading this site most tuning issues were over my head. Glad I had a good friend at the bowshop. I'm slowly starting to understand what we were doing with paper tuning and arrow selection
