I've never seen a bow with 6" drop out to 40. My bow probably drops over a foot by then and it shoots plenty fast. That's not to say it's not possible, but I've never seen it. And who say's you're beating anyone up because they're new? I have like 60 posts and only get sound responses. Sometimes even when you know you're right you have to let it go, especially on the internet.

Stick, I'm "new" here as well, but far from "NEW" to archery. I have worked for over 13 years as an archery technician in 2 different shops. I am far from being the most knowledgeable technician out there. I however, do have to agree with the others who posted. Since my short time here, I have watched many of your posts become let's say, off topic! You are so quick to jump on those who offer advice. It's always good to question some answers if you don't have the complete understanding that is intended. However, you seem to turn it into a pizzin' contest and how "great" you are and how "right" you think you are. Sorry dude, but I usually don't reply to these threads, too much drama, but this one I just couldn't pass up. Oh, and in closing, if you feel it's time to end your stint here and move on, good luck to you finding better answers or honest answers on AT!!
