I'd like to real work test that theory. I like how you must insult people. I may be new to shooting but I can assure you my shooting skills are not that of my years.

You are talking about shooting me with a BH and I am insulting you? I am sure your shooting skills are not that of your years. I am betting you could actually kill and recover a deer now that you are so awesome.

Every yardage. Its called momentum. It may not be noticed until 30 or 40 because of things like pin settings and sight paralax

Shoot an all arrows touching group at 20 (an it is exactly 20 and remember I am shooting small diameter arrows not target fatties here) 2" group at 40 and and you have a much closer "estimation" to what i shoot. So you have closer to 6" drop considering my 20 is dead on at 20. Did you not read that part or just not understand it when you did read it? I like how "if" shows up in that positively right statement. I don't think I recall saying I think my 20 is dead on at 20 and I think my groups were 2". When did I ever say my 20 was sighted at 25? That's something you assumed to make you sound right not something you even asked. It is measured out with a 300 feet tape measure if you didn't read that part.

There you go. I am not talking about anything but 40yd. It would have to be a shot out past that before what you are saying would be true. I knew that.

I'm betting with a heavier arrow shooting out of a faster now I would have. An yes I have learned a lot. I was joking and you could tell. I used  in mine.

I didnt assume anything.I was giving you benefit of the doubt for your ignorance. What your claimning defies the LAWS of physics.Plain and simple.

Funny how I use a program to make sight tapes for me and it is always dead on out to 80 yards yet you say it isnt real world. The program says it isnt possible and so do i as well as bruce.:lmao:

I also said a heavy arrow at the same speed as a lighter arrow shoots flatter at ALL distances, not just 40.You just may not notice it as much until 30 or 40 because of sight paralax and pin setting.

LOL It was the only deer you ever shot at.

No, no you haven't. That's the problem and that is what keeps you from learning much at all. You think you know what you are talking about so you don't listen to anyone else.

Gonna have to agree with this 100%. Stick, you are doing nothing but digging your own grave here. Arguing with two of the MOST experienced technical tuning guys on here is not a good idea.

..And a 2" group at 40 yards? Consistently?? Have you been hanging out at archery talk to much?

You are new to archery. These guys are a wealth of knowledge. please listen to them. The quicker your bow is set up, the sooner we won't have to read about your new bow everyday.

    This. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I'll level with you stick and just take this as advice rather than as derogatory. The way your approach things archery related, bow related, and forum related, you sound like so many of the guys at AT. This "approach" bugs a lot of people over here which is exactly why most of the guys that post on here DON'T go over there. Just something to think about.

I perceive most of your posts as trying to prove yourself to others. You don't need to do that. Stop trying because people see through that.

If other people disagree with me so be it.

Ok guys I get it. You like to beat up the new guy. I am not trying to prove anything. I shoot well and shot high on one deer and if you all remember, there were other contributing factors in that whole deal and the one thing you all do is try to say how I didn't recover the deer. I'm not saying I'm the greatest and by no means am I saying I am right all the time. I have learned a lot from a lot of you on here. Bruce included. I believe it is time for me to find another forum to call home. So to all of you who have helped me along the way thanks. It has been a blast to be here but, all roads end and I believe this one has. Good luck to you all in future seasons and enjoy the company. I've had all I can take.

Aww c'mon, don't leave! Is your wife going to stay? She seems like a nice gal.

Sticks, it has nothing to do with being the "new guy". I tried to help, just like others here, but you don't listen. Tfox and Bruce have helped many guys here over the years by answering their questions. Neither of them have ever mocked those asking questions right off the bat. They have always been very helpful. What you see now is the result of you always telling people they are wrong. I know you always try to spin it as you not telling them they are wrong, but that is exactly how it looks to everyone else.

If I had to name three people I would ask for advice in your situation, it would be tfox, bruce, and kodiakarcher. Thats not to say there aren't other very knowledgeable members. Those are just the first three that pop into my head with YEARS of experience...and you are trying to tell two of them they are wrong. Charlie Brown was dead on in this thread.

I can only imagine what a joy you are at the local bow shop.

Stick, I have no beef with you at all. But I have to say that in this particular thread, you asked for advice and opinions and some, such as tfox and bruce, for example, offered sound advice and even entertained you for a bit. Those two guys, like Vito mentioned, are some of the most knowledgeable and experienced guys we have here. I consider myself knowledgeable and experienced as well, but not at the same level as those two guys. In fact, a lot of what I know can be directly attributed to those two and several others I've come to know on boards such as this. But you asked for advice, they gave it, and then you argued about their answers.

You can surely disagree with anyone here. It's your right and I doubt anyone would hold that against you. But disagree and let it go. Don't ask questions if you're not going to like the answer. There is nothing worse than being asked for advice from the guy who thinks he knows everything.

The point is, we can all learn something from each other on this board. Guys like tfox and bruce have a ton of knowledge and experience to share and they are more than happy to share it. Take what these guys say and at the very least try it. Rarely on this board do you see people "beat up on the new guy" unless it has to do with poor shots on deer.

This is the best board going in my opinion. There is a reason many of us don't go to AT, which has a much larger user base. It's guys in hordes, with attitudes such as you displayed on this post in particular, that ruined AT for many of us.

Don't leave this board. Take a chill pill and enjoy.

I personally have a friend/coach that has students with world records. He helps at the olympic training center as well as JOAD programs across the country. He USED to post on AT years ago but got tired of people telling him he was wrong all the time. This is a world class coach and tuner but got beat up on AT and now he refuses to go back.

This guy has taught me a ton as well as people like Arthur from the old board. Arthur and I rarely agreed but that doesnt mean we didnt respect one another and we both learned through the process.

I also have friends that shoot in the pro class at a high level that used to post on AT and you rarely see them anymore.

I also have no beef with you stick, dont know you that well and only started posting again a few months ago. When you doubt what we say ask yourself a question,Why are they saying that? Then go test what we are saying for yourself. Most of all,be honest with yourself.

AT is 5% quality information from guys with the know-how buried amongst the other 95% pure garbage-laden posts. Anymore, if there's something specific I need to know or learn, I have a short list of those I will contact. A few posting on this thread are amongst them. One needs to know when there is still much to learn. (wow that sounded really Mr.Miyagi-like).

Yea, I always love the form threads that always get the same your draw length is too long regardless of the form issues response.
