Please post pictures of your lightweight, thin walled, Speed Pro arrow after it explodes and ends up in your arm. There are reasons why the 5 grain per pound minimum was introduced several years ago...And it wasn't so much because of the bows...:d
My thin-walled arrow "exploded" into this one. ...then this one... ...then this one... ...then this one. Not bad for being too thin, not durable enough for hunting, too light to penetrate and hazardous to the user. LOL Jagov.
LOL...That wasn't what I asked to see pictures of...Most every animal picture posted on here (including mine) had a heavy, lightweight or mid-weight, wood, aluminum, all carbon or aluminum/carbon arrow shot through it... I asked to see pictures of your arm or hand after your lightweight, thin walled arrow explodes...Kind of like these...:d
What type of arrows are those? And did the shooter check for imperfections before he shot them? That can happen with any arrow.
Those are CX's. Who cares why/how Fran is getting those speeds? He IS getting them and he's having success with it. I'm sure he knows the risk, he's a big boy. I would bet I'm shooting one of the slowest bows on here (other than Christine) and I wish my bow would shoot 369. :D
None of those deer are much to brag about as far as i'm concerned. I don't think any of them would score over 120 inches. I wouldn't even draw my bow. those are the deer you should give a couple more years. But thats only my opinion.
Wow I have seen a lot people called out before, but this one might takes the cake. You have to understand what is considered a "bragging" deer changes based on where you are at in the world. While I have never hunted PA, it is my understanding that those are good deer for the area and given the fact that he hunts a bunch on public ground makes them even better. I hope you are able to back up your words!
This thread has it all. And what the hey, since everyone is all about plastering their success, these trophies was skewered with a 1586 grain arrow and a KE of about 10.
