With the season coming up, don't forget, those things don't work without batteries. (and batteries wear out:)) Couple dollars and you be sure it's gonna work for the season.

Anyone else have any other reminders?

    Check your strings over!!!! ;)

    Seriously though.

    1. Sharpen or replace your BH blades
    2. Gutting Knife sharpened
    3. Make sure your hunting clothes still fits good (if you gained a few pounds)
    4. Thermacell repellent refills

All good advice. I'll add one. Please wear your harness.

Funny you mention that. I've dropped nearly 40 lbs now since the end of last deer season, and I just thought about checking the fit of my camo yesterday. I fear it's going to be huge on me. :throw:

Check your bow over thoroughly for loose bolts on the bow and accessories. If you've left stands out in the tree over the year, and you haven't done so, go check straps for dry rot and/or tears.

    All good tips!

I recommend cleaning out your freezer. Make room for the fresh meat.
