This year I have done pretty well with deer sightings. I'm not sure how many sits I've done, but it's probably close to 30. There's only been 2 or 3 times where I haven't seen at least 1 deer. I have seen anywhere between 1 and 9 deer. The season ends this weekend and we didn't get the cold or the snow that I typically wait for. Last year, once the snow was on the ground, I was seeing close to 15 deer every night. They were doe and fawns 99% of the time though.

I saw 10 on opener and then the next three times I was out I didn't see a thing. I saw one a couple weeks later then the day I decided to hunt the other property I saw 4 within 15 minutes. So I went out maybe 6 times and saw about 15 deer but from two different stands.

The only place I have to hunt is pretty similar to what you hunt. The go pretty much where they want at the beginning of the season up until they figure out they're being hunted. It's mostly a bedding and travel area but mostly bedding. I won't see any bucks in there while I'm in the stand because they only use it as bedding according to what I've got on camera and by the time I'm out there they've crossed the bean field into the woods that my grandparents used to own. I'm thinking about asking the guy if I could hunt it because nobody is out there until firearm opens and there's a few great bucks out there that I would at least like to see.

0-8 here in ohio depending on the set up. Our population is really spotty, low on our farms, really high 2 miles up the road. Coyotes and over hunting is what I blame it on.

In one of the spots I can see anywhere from 10-30 deer in the field at a time but that doesn't necessarily mean they are in range.

At "my" public land area in MI I usually see 1-8 deer per sit. But a lot of those are repeats as the young bucks play grabass in the early part of the rut. I've been hunting that 140 acre parcel now for 8 years and looks like I finally figured out how to hunt it when the corn adjacent is still up. This year I saw at least 1 "shooter" on almost every sit. Of course a shooter for me on public land is anything over 2.5/110; at least until my freezer is filled. Then I'm more selective.

The private land I hunt in WI I am lucky to see 1 deer per sit. I'll see Maybe 1-3 QDM shooter bucks all season up there in person. Still get lots of trail cam pics so they're there but very nocturnal after Oct 10 or so.
