Did you say that you "needed" some help?

Ha ha, It was just one of those years for me. What I did learn is to only hunt when the conditions are right, the 2 sits I didn't do that I didn't see deer.

For me your hunting this year would be "the dreams of a lifetime!"

I probably average for the season somewhere between 1 and 3 deer per sit. I still have quite a number of sits where I don't see any deer at all, and of course I have a few special hunts each year where I see a dozen or more. Unfortunately there's more of the zero deer hunts than the dozen deer hunts.

I may have averaged seeing 1-2 deer a sit this year. Those numbers are skewed because 50% of the time on stand I dont see a deer. I could blame those numbers on a lot of things, but mostly they are me. I need to scout more.

I hunt suburban land. I see 4-5 deer per sit. But they are mostly the same deer. They all have names around here. It's like the same routine. When I see different deer, it only bucks that still have names, but at that point they're coming out in the daylight.

Average this year is 1.9 deer per sit. The most being 6 and a bunch of zeros late season.

I certainly could work a bit harder and see more. But after my hectic week, I just find myself satisfied with being in a quiet stand just to unwind..

The last two years in PA I've only seen about 5-8 deer each season total. As long as one of those is a deer I want to shoot I am OK with it. In OH I see more but still no where near the numbers some you guys see. Maybe 20-25 all season unless it's one of those rare hunts where I see 10 in one sit.

I'm not going to lie it was a great year but not the norm for me. It was the best year for seeing antlers over 1000 inches in total and just the fun of rattling them in. I may never have another season like this but that's fine because I had this one.

Last year I sat 140.5 hours and saw 25 bucks and 97 does. 2 were shooters and I missed the only shot I took.

This season I have sat 36 hours with 3 bucks and 27 does showing up. I shot a 130lb doe and 128.5" 9 point.

about 3 - 5 per sit. the last few seasons I improved stand locations and now see about 30 bucks and about 15 does for the bow season.

I was just thinking on my way to work this morning that I remember from 2007-2012 I passed on an average 20-25 bucks a season. Since then, I have not even come close to seeing 20-25 bucks in 3 total years off hunting let alone passing on them! LOL

Around 10 -15 at the one spot (alfalfa field) mostly does, and 5-10 at the other spot (alot of bucks), including a big 10 pointer.

Memories are valuable. I've never succeeded at rattling in a buck nor even grunting one in. Our population is so small here.

this was the worst year for me I have had in a long time numbers wise. However, I did see more bucks on stand than any other year in the past. probably averaged 1-3 deer per sit.
