I don't listen to today's country, but listen to the old stuff, and rock and roll, and pop. Hooker's thread about how bad country music is today got me to think about the artists I enjoy and in the country genre, most of them also have a gospel background (the one's I listen to). Gatlin Brothers, Oakridge Boys, Stadtler Brothers, Johnny Cash, Alan Jackson, Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt….
