Just wondering those of you who are hunting in the south where are you and are you seeing any rutting activity happening? My roommate shot a buck that had a swollen up neck like he was rutting but said that he was with another buck. I'm located in eastern Nc anyone around that area seeing anything ? I've noticed here in NW GA that young bucks are starting to spar and scrapes are popping up all over. No stained tarsals yet, but my buddy shot a buck that was stained and stinking in the next county west. Similar habitat and climate as where I hunt in Forsyth county NC, but I haven't hunted there yet all season. Waiting another week before I head up there to hunt.
