Been enjoying this forum for a few years, really like the emphasis on ethics, shot placement as well as the threads on blood tracking. I've been bowhunting about 5 years and have pulled back on many deer but have yet to let one fly for one reason or another mostly because of our one deer limit and not wanting to miss out on rifle season and hunting with the family. I decided this season to take the first buck that came by and last night had a big 8 pointer walk by my ground blind at 10 yards, drew back on him and watched as he quartered away and strolled into the beeches. Heading out in the a.m, going to be tough shooting anything else now knowing this guys around. Wish me luck. -donk
