Fathers day my oldest son and I went out to a remote railroad bed with the canoe. Our intended target was carp, but we ran into some of these things! SNAKEHEADS! bad sign for our waters. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Shot thru the side not the best fight, but it was alive out of the water 2 hours after it was shot! And actually lunged at me in the canoe on the way back to the truck.

Good job! Haven't seen any in IL, thankfully.

They only way they'd be good news is if they ate only carp. :)

Haven't had any encounters with any snakeheads, but I hear they are nasty. Not something I want to see in the waters around me.
