Every year I take a week off work and go back home bowhunting with my dad in union county (the tail of SD). I will be down there from November 2nd to the 11th. What do you guys think will they be in peak rut? They had a bad die off from blue tongue so im just hoping for the best.
I've been hunting moody and lake county's and haven't seen any chasing yet but they are comin in to grunts so I think it will kick off soon. Sent from iPhone
I was just on stand this morning and watched a young buck follow a doe and I could here some grunting. No serious chasing yet and fawns are still with mom. Did alot of scouting and only found a couple scrapes and some rubs. I have 10 days off starting on the 9th, can't wait!
