Finally talked my Uncle into getting some habitat improvement work done on his farm. The red cedars have gotten way out of hand. The deer do bed in them but they don’t offer much else. They need thinned bad. We dropped about 100 cedars from 4” - 12” in diameter and cleared areas for 3 new food plots. Once dropped we limbed the bottom 8 foot and cut for fenceposts and used the tops to build screening on the plots. We only put a dent in what all needs done but i think it’s progress anyway. Looks good Shock!!! Keep it up. You may have scared the deer for a little bit, due to the change, but they'll love the new browse!! Curious to see what the pH of the soil is.
I can’t believe it FP. I took 5 different samples and all were within 6.5 -7 Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
